I'm fortunate to run a business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal Development!
I'm an Aussie but grew up in South Africa, having immigrated to Melbourne 20 years ago. I have three adult children who all live in the UK and a stepson, here in Melbourne. My business allows my family to live where we choose to but also allows us the opportunity of travelling while still being connected from anywhere in the world!!
This has certainly allowed us the opportunity of seeing our brand new addition to the family, our first granddaughter, more frequently without begging for extended leave from the "Boss". I am also able to have the opportunity to travel back to the "home" country to see my elderly Mum more often.
But the best is, that I have more time to spend on my passion for golf, playing some of the great courses around the world!

THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: I started my online business journey after being retrenched from my Corporate role at the age of 61! This wasn't part of my plan running running into retirement. 40+ years of committed focus within the business sector all came unstuck, leaving me feeling insecure and unsupported. My loyalty to the various corporate companies meant nothing in the end! However, it gave me the opportunity to reassess what I wanted from the rest of my working life. It was quite simple actually, I still wanted to earn the generous 6 figure income, but I really didn't want to continue working 50+ hours per week, answering to a Boss, being challenged with unrealistic goals and more importantly, I wanted to work so that I could enjoy life!!
SO WHY TAKE THE MASSIVE STEP NOW: After being retrenched, my self-esteem was low, which also wasn't helped by the countless applications for roles, that met with silence, from both Recruitment Agencies and Businesses alike. It dawned on me that I was either too experienced for roles or the age bracket was a hinderance. I clicked on a link, similar to what you are reading now, and found a business opportunity that ticked all the boxes I mentioned earlier. This business has allowed me to interact with many successful people, from various walks and cultures of life, so if they can be a success why can't I? The support and inclusiveness has given me the renewed enthusiasm and confidence to be as successful as them.
